Jaguar has officially launched I-Pace 2019 , this high-powered car is also the first product to run full power of the car company to England. The Jaguar I-Pace is located between F-Pace and E-Pace with a five-seat crossover configuration . Opponents that Jaguar I-Pace in 2019 want to get at is the Tesla Model X . Built on an aluminum chassis, the I-Pace is the toughest and most durable Jaguar. A total of 90 kWh lithium-ion batteries with 432 battery packs are put together under the floor. When fully charged and tested according to the WLAN (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure), I-Pace can travel continuously for up to 480 km.
Notably, the I-Pace is equipped with a fast charger, with a standard Combined Charging System charger and a Type 2 charger for current electric vehicles in the world. It only takes 40 minutes to charge from 0-80%, or it takes 15 minutes to charge the charger enough to travel 100 kilometers at specialized charging stations. With home electric appliances, when equipped with 7 kW AC charger, it takes about 10 hours to reach 80% of battery capacity, suitable for overnight charging and daily use of vehicles. The car is powered by two electric motors, one for the front axle and one for the rear axle to form the full-time AWD. These two engines together produce nearly 395 horsepower and 696 Nm of torque. Thus, I-Pace can accelerate 0-100 km / h with only 4.8 seconds.
Jaguar also said that the I-Pace kinetic system was nearly perfect when the weight ratio of the front / rear axle was 50:50 and the low center of gravity. In addition, they feature standard independent front suspension, multi-point rear suspension with optional pneumatic suspension and Adaptive Dynamics System adaptive control system. About design, I-Pace is inspired by the Concept Jaguar C-X75. Hooded capo is low in front with many embossed veins, headlights and bumper front sharpness, large inlets. Body with 22-inch wheels and handles are hidden inside the door. Tilted back, square car tail and large backlight bulb stretch impressively. Jaguar’s electric car has an air deflection of only 0.29Cd.
Admittedly, the cabin of I-Pace is very beautiful, the interior is young and modern style instead of sports, luxury often seen by Jaguar. The Jaguar Land Rover round number is removed to replace the optional numeric position. The Touch Pro Duo also appears, allowing users to control the features through two capacitive touch screens and a few more buttons.
Another prominent feature is the EV smart navigation system that predicts travel locations based on trip data. As well as AI artificial intelligence to identify the habit of moving the driver, combined with virtual assistant Amazon Alexa Skill. I-Pace also comes with a HUD display, Adaptive Cruise Control, Activity Key, Remote Pack, and online driver update software.
Although overall size is smaller, I-Pace’s interior space is more spacious than the F-Pace. This is due to a base length of 2,990 mm which combines the overall length of 4,682 mm. The rear seats have a footprint of up to 890 mm and 968 mm of ceiling clearance. The luggage compartment has a standard volume of 656 liters and extends to 1,453 liters when folded flat in the back.
